Shadi season is just around the corner and we are super excited. Where shadi season comes with elegant jhumkas, delicious food and trending clothes,
it also comes with a struggle to survive a dozen events with shadi complimenting outfits. Here’s some tips and tricks on how to make your shadi season fun and beautiful in a budget- The basics: As simple as this sounds, this is one of the most efficient and trendy ways to make your events memorable. Buy a white or off white kurti and trousers and you’re good to go for multiple events. Pair it with a colorful dupatta for mayoon and mehndi events. And with a shawl or heavy embroidered Dupatta for Baraat or Valima event.
- Shoes: If you’re thinking about buying a a separate pair of footwear with every dress for every function, drop the thought. Get your hands on basic colors. A good deal would be to get a khussa for mehndi / dholki events, a pair of fancy golden heels for main events, another pair of heels/ flats in yet another basic color. Basic colors go with almost every dress.
- Jewelry: Look around. Yes! Look around for good and reasonable jewelry. Get only the necessary stuff you KNOW you would wear or something that would compliment your dress
- Quality over quantity: buy less but good quality items. Unlike low quality material, you will be able to use it for a longer period of time rather than just throwing the stuff from previous events and getting new items. On a longer term, this is more pocket convenient
- Comfortable clothes: If you’ve got a themed planned for an event and you’re aware of the discomfort a particular piece of cloth would bring you, drop the idea. Motivation for one event would make you wear it but for another dozen of events, you will need to get something else
- One Lehenga, many functions: If you’re a person who loves wearing lehenga, get a golden or beige color lehenga. Pair it with as many colored shirts as you want. Every colored shirt will look elegant with a beige/golden colored lehenga
Make this wedding season memorable. You don’t have to worry much about the budget if you shop smart. You can get through as many events as you have to, each with a different yet trendy look.
