special rank it is the most miserable thing which has a lot of interactions with all the environmental factors from the smallest viruses or bacteria’s to the smoke, pollution or chemicals. So, it needs a lot of attention and care to keep it in its natural appearance and most importantly increase its life span.

There are a lot of suggestions and tips to make your skin look naturally glowing and healthy-looking but sometimes you notice that they’re not working for you. The reason behind that is that they are not made for you. They sometimes go in reverse directions and may damage your skin. So, before starting a proper skin care regimen, one should know what skin type is there and what’s made for you.

According to the scientific terminology, there are 4 main types of skin.

  • Normal skin.
  • Oily skin.
  • Dry skin.
  • Combination skin

Normal skin:

You’re really blessed if you have this type of skin. It’s neither oily nor dry. Just average healthy looking glowing skin with no marks, no acne, no peeling off, even skin tone. It is well balanced and hydrated.

Oily skin:

This type of skin appears shiny. Open and clogged pores because dirt particles stick to the oil which further clogs your hair follicles that appears as white or blackheads. Oily skin is prone to acne because the oily environment is favorite to bacteria and other microbes; hence, it results in acne.

Dry skin:

It appears rough, dull complexion, red patches, visible lines sometimes irritating. It is because it lacks the regular water content, so it needs to be hydrated. This type of skin loses its elasticity soon, so signs of aging may appear at your young age.

Combination skin is dry or normal in some areas whereas oily on the other like T-zone (nose, forehead, chin). So, different areas need different treatments or skincare. Pores are larger than their usual size may appear shiny for the oily areas.
