Hey there, Here’s a detailed review on this primer by glamorous face makeup called the “True color Aqua Protect makeup primer.”
Since recently in talks for being super affordable, so by the hype of it, I brought my self a bottle, and honestly, I believe it’s for healthy skin, not for too oily, or too dry, just average and right for combination.
3-4 pumps are suitable to cover up your face and neck; gives your skin a pretty smooth finish and preps your face, but don’t forget to moisturize your face first regardless if your skin is oily or if it’s summer ALWAYS moisturize ladies!
Moisturizing prevents your skin from drying out, triggering acne or getting clumpy due to primer and foundation not to forget there are many other benefits of moisturizing.
How to prime your skin best:
- Apply Moisturizer (I go for Johnson’s 24hr care moisturizer )
- Apply some sunblock more than 60 Spf
- Take 3-4 pumps of the primer
- Apply liberally on your face and neck
- Leave for 5-10 minutes
- Apply Foundation, BB CREAM, etc.
This one is best for occasional brunches, dinners, all the events that may go on for 3-4 hours, It holds your makeup flawlessly for up-to 4 hours
2 Pea-sized pumps will go all the way and do the job. This one works best with liquid bases and very moderate at minimizing pores, nor the very best though, it doesn’t suck your moisture out or dries your skin, but it does make your skin look matte-fied and smooth.
It feels weightless on the skin. That’s one thing I love about it.
Another thing I’d like to mention is that it didn’t hold up sweat or anything(Negative point), it works good in winters although I wouldn’t recommend it for summer or events that are prolonged.
It’s not so ideal for a primer but definitely useful when it comes to the price point, an average pick.
